Day 24

43 miles.  Eminence to Houston.  I got a late start today.  Breakfast wasn't served until 8:00 but it was worth the wait.  It rained early and then the sun came out so it was really steamy.  Still plenty of steep hills.  I saw more cyclists today than any other day of the trip.  Since I am getting close to half way I am seeing more east bound riders.  There was a couple on a tandem and a mother and daughter going from Colorado to Virginia.  I also talked to two solo riders.  I am camping at the city park for free tonight.  They have a pool with showers.  The library is also near by.  Dean and Eric are camping here tonight also.  Fellow nomads.
