55 miles. Afton to Lexington. Perfect cycling weather again. Big climb up the Blue Ridge Parkway today. About 3000 feet of climbing. It really was not bad. Rode with my three buddies. Great views all day. A screaming 3 mile winding decent off of the Parkway. Awesome 2nd lunch at Geries. The appetite is kicking in. Jerry and I are at a cheap motel in Lexington. Rich and Mike are with relatives.
