0 miles. Slept late and took a fantastic three mile hike with Jack and his collies. My parents got here at lunch time and we spent the day together. Much eating and laughing. Debbie arrives tomorrow.
TOM - pls make sure that your mom continues to post comments to the blog, even on your zero days and even though she is there with you. Her daily encouragements are better than anything you've said - and the biggest reason we are tuning in.
I have to agree with Wuss In Boots. If I look and there is just one comment for a day, I know before I look that at least Tom's mother loves him and whole heartily supports him.
Wuss in Boots...I was there when he ran the Boston Marathon, We were there when he hiked to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and back, We were there when he climbed Longs Peak in Colorado, We were there when he won the doubles championship in tennis and we're not missing this bike trip thats he making. These are the rewards for all the work we put in to raising six kids.......
